Today the world lost.....
My heroes are those who risk their lives every day to protect our world and make it a better place.
In terms of people who we call heroes - and firefighters don't consider themselves heroes -, if you look at their job description, they are. Their job is to straight up save people.
Being a firefighter is going beyond limits, facing challenges, not fearing and risking one's life.Having the bravery to act quickly in high-risk situations to save others, making them honorable.
Despite the preparation they receive, it should not always be easy for firefighters to enter buildings in the midst of fire in search of people, children and animals living one of the worst moments of their lives.
On the other hand, every professional is proud of being part of such an essential social protection entity.
Being a firefighter is working in unity, sure to have companions and friends always around!
But there are days when something goes wrong.
Air Force Pilot and Fire Commander, Noel Ferreira always had a different dream - to be a pilot!
He joined the Air Force Academy. Still wishing to be a fighter pilot, ended up in love with search and rescue.
He commanded hundreds of operations, but last Thursday we lost a hero.
I personally did not know him, but I leave here my thanks for all he has done in his short life and to his family my deepest condolences.
